How can I get started?

Contact the clinic. You can schedule an initial evaluation. In your first session, you will discuss the history of your injury or concern. Tests will be performed to assess your baseline. Your physical therapist will work with you to establish a plan of care.

If you wish to know more about physical therapy prior to starting, you can schedule a 15-minute consultation. This free session will enable you to discuss your injury with a licensed physical therapist and get your questions answered about treatment options. Sun Physical Therapy staff are happy to guide you through the process.

Do I need a prescription for physical therapy?

Contact the clinic directly for information on what you need prior to starting physical therapy. We will make sure that everything is in place prior to the start of care.

What insurances do you accept?

Sun Physical Therapy is in-network with most major insurance carriers, including but not limited to Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Medicaid, Medicare, and United Healthcare. We also accept patients with injuries that are related to work or motor vehicle accidents. If you have any questions or if your insurance carrier is not listed above, please contact Sun Physical Therapy to get the complete list.

How do I prepare for my first session?

Wear comfortable clothing. Be prepared for evaluation and treatment of the injured area. For example, if you are seeking treatment for your knee, it is best to wear shorts so that your knee can be assessed and treated easily.

How can I pay my co-pay?

Sun Physical Therapy accepts cash, personal checks, and credit cards.

Is there a self-pay option?
